Pixel Count for Scare Crow used to cut squares
Order your own PixelQuilt pattern.

The Pixel Count tells you how many 
squares to cut and fabric to buy.

Use the Pixel Count for how many squares to cut of each fabric and the following chart to determine how much fabric to buy.

Fabric requirements for 1 " squares

         Cut about 25 squares from a 1 " strip of fabric (42 - 44" selvage to selvage)

         Cut about 75 squares from a fat eighth, if you can buy one.

         Cut about 150 squares from a yard (selvage to selvage or fat quarter)

         Cut about 300 squares from a yard.

 Fabric requirements for 1" squares

         Cut about 40 squares from a 1" strip of fabric (42 - 44" selvage to selvage)

         Cut about 120 squares from a fat eighth, if you can buy one.

         Cut about 240 squares from a yard (selvage to selvage or fat quarter)

         Cut about 480 squares from a yard.
